Peonies in Blue Glass
Day 4 #stradaeasel challenge
A quick oil sketch after dinner. I call it a sketch because there is very little detail and I haven’t even painted in the background over the stain. These fake peonies are great for still life. A nice full bouquet and they aren’t precious at all. I chose this vase because I had a pile of blue paint left over from another painting today.

The painting has been finished with a light coat of protective varnish. All photographs have been taken in natural lighting and all attempts have been made to represent the correct colouring - however variations are possible between different digital screens.
Please allow 3-5 days to be shipped. In some cases if purchase has taken place shortly after the piece was completed more drying time will be required. Most pieces are dry within 5-7 days. If the weather is not hot it can take a few extra days. Please take this into account with shipping times.
