When I'm painting on location, I'll often paint a second small painting, very fast, just before I leave. It's a great way to capture a more abstract view with just the essence of the scene. I also have most of the colours premixed and ready to go from the first painting.
This piece is painted on canvas paper using the mixes from my first painting that day.

The painting has been finished with a light coat of protective varnish. All photographs have been taken in natural lighting and all attempts have been made to represent the correct colouring - however variations are possible between different digital screens.
Please allow 3-5 days to be shipped. In some cases if purchase has taken place shortly after the piece was completed more drying time will be required. Most pieces are dry within 5-7 days. If the weather is not hot it can take a few extra days. Please take this into account with shipping times.
